In this
project I have explored different ways of creating a book cover, including
printing, drawing and cut paper.
In the
project I aimed to explore the different subjects of the books I was covering
using lots of different media and techniques, with an influence on
observational drawing and experimentation.
The project
went well but I have been unable to explore lino printing within the timeframe
of the project because of the limitations of my access to the print facilities.
I will therefore continue this experimentation over the next couple of weeks.
During this
project I have come to appreciate ‘accidents’ as these can be the best ideas
and lead onto a winning design. I have also developed my experimentation
skills, using more collaged backgrounds and ways of producing line.
