Working on collage grounds so that the clear white of the fresh page isn't so daunting to draw on. It also adds to the page composition.

| I really enjoyed working with the wire because of the challenge of how stiff it was, but that gave you a more interesting shape because you can' put all the detail in and because the wire resists, it's never quite the shape you were aiming for. Also, because it works better when you just bend one long piece of wire, everything has to be connected to something else to hold it in position. |
