Walter Gropius was an architect who set up the Bauhaus design school. His designs are ahead of his time, and combine industry and technology with architecture.
His designs are subtle and less ‘in your face’ as some innovative designs, yet they show the first steps towards modernism, and the combination of different angles and levels.
